Our game against New Brighton Black has shown that we can have bad days.

We had a number of players put in a top game while some seemed disinterested.

Rugby is a team game and if team members don't commit 100% to the 40 minutes of game time then you are letting down all of your team mates, coaches & parents.

You men have shown that you can play to win, we are not like other teams where they play Rugby to participate .... we are good enough to win and you enjoy winning ... don't you?

Because of this your coaches (and parents) drive you harder than many other tams get driven. So when we play we will talk about the good and bad aspects of the game .... just the same we will talk about the good and bad aspects when we play below par.

We had a bad game, it happens, let's learn from it and come back next week as the team we can be.

Even playing below our normal standards, the coaches still loved watching you play even if frustrated at times.

I look forward to a positive practice next week.

Brayden, I hope you are feeling better, I know you played still feeling unwell and put in agood performance.

Brad and Fagan both had yesterday off school from feeling unwell and ended up as "Most Improved Player" and "Man of the Match" .... go figure.

Get well Oliver. I hope you get over your illness quickly ... and Happy Birthday for last Wednesday.
